In a deeply spiritual and awe-inspiring ceremony, the Holy Kaaba in Masjid al-Haram, Makkah, was washed with Zamzam water and rosewater as part of its annual purification ritual. This sacred tradition was attended by high-ranking officials, members of the Saudi royal family, religious scholars, and ambassadors from across the world.
According to private news channel Express News, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, was represented at the event by the Governor of Makkah. The ceremony began with the washing of the Kaaba’s inner walls and floor using 40 liters of Zamzam water mixed with pure rosewater. The sanctified space was then perfumed with oud and other luxurious fragrances, enhancing the spiritual ambiance.
Thousands of pilgrims present in Masjid al-Haram witnessed the event with devotion, capturing the heartfelt moments on their phones and sharing them widely on social media, spreading the spiritual beauty around the globe.
Participants offered Nawafil prayers and made special supplications for the unity, peace, and prosperity of the Muslim Ummah. The entire ritual not only symbolizes physical and spiritual purification but also reflects the deep love, reverence, and unity of Muslims worldwide.
