Gaza – August 2025: The situation in Gaza has reached alarming levels as Israeli airstrikes and ground operations intensify. In the past 24 hours alone, at least 111 Palestinians have been killed, including 65 in daytime air raids, while over 820 people have been injured.
According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, the ongoing war that began on October 7, 2023, has now claimed 60,332 lives, with the number of wounded reaching 147,643.
Beyond the bombings, famine is silently killing more people each day. Due to severe food shortages, 7 more people died from hunger, pushing the famine-related death toll to 154. Arab media reports highlight that millions are at risk due to lack of food, clean water, and medicine.

In response to the growing humanitarian disaster, France has announced 40 tons of emergency aid for Gaza. The French Foreign Minister stated that four aid flights carrying 10 tons each will be sent via Jordan. However, he added that such efforts are not enough, urging the global community to act swiftly and collectively.
The war and deepening humanitarian crisis in Gaza have sparked concern around the world. Still, international calls for a ceasefire remain unanswered, as millions of Palestinians continue to suffer from not only bombings, but also hunger, disease, and displacement. The future remains uncertain — clouded by violence, loss, and despair.
