Gaza Under Siege: Israeli Strikes Kill 80 More, Famine Deaths Rise

Journalists Starving, Death Toll Nears 60,000 Amid Unfolding Humanitarian Catastrophe

Israeli aggression in Gaza shows no signs of slowing, as fresh air and ground assaults have killed at least 80 more Palestinians and injured dozens. In fact, over 90 Palestinians were martyred in just 24 hours in a recent wave of Israeli bombing, highlighting the rapidly escalating toll.

Among the dead is renowned Palestinian journalist Adam Abu Harbid, whose loss underscores the deepening tragedy. Meanwhile, another 9 Palestinians died due to ongoing blockade-induced starvation, pushing the total famine-related deaths to over 122.

According to the Gaza Ministry of Health, the ongoing war has now claimed 59,676 lives, with 143,965 injured since the escalation began.

Leading global media organizations including BBC, AFP, AP, and Reuters have issued a joint statement highlighting the severe humanitarian crisis in Gaza. They report that journalists covering the war are now starving, unable to provide food for themselves or their families.

According to The Guardian, these are the very journalists who have risked their lives for months to report from the war zone. Now, they are facing death not from bombs, but from hunger and exhaustion. One AFP photographer wrote on social media:

“My body can no longer function. We are not just reporters now—we are victims too.”

The silence of the international community and the ongoing Israeli blockade have pushed Gaza into the depths of a full-blown humanitarian disaster.
