In a major crackdown, Lahore police arrested two suspects involved in an online fake currency operation in the Ravi Road area.
According to police officials, the raid was carried out based on a tip-off, resulting in the arrest of two men identified as Talha and Farhan. Authorities seized PKR 100,000 worth of counterfeit currency from the suspects.
Initial investigations revealed that the two were selling fake currency notes at discounted prices through online platforms. The suspects used digital communication channels to connect with buyers and deliver counterfeit notes. They also targeted unsuspecting shopkeepers in local markets, frequently changing locations to avoid detection.

Forty (40) fake PKR 1,000 notes
SP City Bilal Ahmad confirmed that a case has been registered against the accused. He added that investigations are ongoing to trace other members of the counterfeit currency network.
Police vowed to bring all individuals involved in the racket to justice, assuring the public that further arrests are expected soon.
