Multan, August 2, 2025 – The Pakistan Army has taken a significant step in enhancing its combat capabilities by formally inducting the advanced Z-10ME attack helicopter into the Army Aviation Corps. This state-of-the-art aircraft is equipped to engage targets in all weather conditions, day or night.
According to ISPR, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir visited the Multan Garrison as the chief guest of the induction ceremony. During the event, a live-fire demonstration was held at the Muzaffargarh Firing Range, showcasing joint weapon strategies using the Z-10ME.
Field Marshal Munir appreciated the performance and expressed complete satisfaction with the Army’s professional preparedness and coordination during the exercises.
The Z-10ME is equipped with advanced radar systems, electronic warfare capabilities, and night strike features, making it a powerful weapon against both aerial and ground threats. Its induction marks a major milestone in the modernization of Pakistan’s Army Aviation fleet.
During his visit, the Field Marshal was welcomed by the Corps Commander Multan and received a detailed briefing on the formation’s operational readiness and training activities. He praised the dedication, skills, and spirit of the soldiers.
Additionally, the Field Marshal held meetings with education sector experts and civil society representatives, emphasizing the need for a comprehensive national strategy to strengthen civil-military relations, promote national unity, and tackle evolving hybrid threats.
