Pakistan has qualified for the final of the Nations Hockey Cup after a dramatic victory over France in the semi-final.

Earlier in the group stage, Pakistan defeated Japan, drew 3-3 with Malaysia, and narrowly lost 4-3 to New Zealand. With a better goal average, Pakistan advanced to the semi-finals.
