Similarly, high-speed diesel (HSD) has seen a Rs. 11.37 per liter hike, bringing its new price to Rs. 284.35 per liter.

This price adjustment comes in response to the continuous rise in crude oil prices in the global market, which has directly impacted local petroleum rates. Learn more about the global fuel price trends here.

The newly announced prices will be effective from July 16 to July 31, 2025.

On the other hand, sources report that the government has reduced the price of kerosene oil by Rs. 3.10 and light diesel oil by Rs. 1.85 per liter, aiming to provide some relief to the general public.

This mixed adjustment reflects the government’s attempt to balance international cost pressures while cushioning the economic burden on everyday consumers. For full details on this month’s fuel rate adjustments, view our complete July 2025 fuel price report here.
