Possible End of the Suzuki Every VX

Pakistan’s auto industry is abuzz with reports that Pak Suzuki Motor Company (PSMC) has discontinued the Every VX variant, a popular mini-van introduced less than a year ago. Although the company has not issued any official statement, multiple sources indicate that the VX version has been silently removed from Suzuki’s local lineup.

According to industry observers, this move follows a similar trend seen with other well-known Suzuki models such as the Bolan, Alto VX, and Mehran, which were phased out over the past few years due to changing market preferences and tighter emission standards.

VX Model Removed from Suzuki’s Official Website

Evidence supporting the discontinuation emerged when the Every VX was recently deleted from Suzuki Pakistan’s official website. The site now only lists the Every VXR variant along with its pricing details. Until a few weeks ago, both VX and VXR models were featured.

While Suzuki has yet to confirm the development, the update coincided with the company’s latest promotional campaign, offering a PKR 350,000 discount on the VXR variant. Interestingly, earlier this year Suzuki also introduced a limited-time discount on the Every VX model in Pakistan, which now appears to have quietly ended. Notably, the VX model was not included in the offer, fueling speculation that it may no longer be in production.

Analysts Point to Low Demand

Industry experts believe that the likely reason behind the VX variant’s removal is low market demand. Compared with the VXR, the VX lacked several comfort and safety features — making it less attractive to family and commercial buyers alike.

Auto analysts say the VX variant was primarily aimed at fleet operators and budget-conscious customers, but rising production costs and limited sales may have rendered it unviable for the company to continue.

The Every as a Successor to Bolan

Suzuki introduced the Every series in October 2024, positioning it as a modern replacement for the aging Suzuki Bolan. The company promoted the Every as a safer, more efficient, and comfortable mini-van suitable for both family and business use.

However, despite initial optimism, sales of the Every have faced challenges amid declining automobile demand in Pakistan, driven by inflation, import restrictions, and reduced consumer purchasing power.

If confirmed, the discontinuation of the Every VX would mark another shift in Suzuki’s evolving lineup — one that increasingly favors higher-spec variants over entry-level options.
