U.S. President Donald Trump has assured that Israel will not carry out further strikes on Qatar, calling Doha a close American ally. Speaking to reporters at the White House, Trump stressed that Washington does not want to see new tensions erupt in the Gulf region.
“Qatar is our ally, and we do not want any escalation there. Israel will not attack Qatar again,” Trump said, signaling Washington’s desire to calm a volatile situation following recent reports of regional unrest.
