Lahore: The man known online as “Chacha,” who recently went viral due to a controversial video on social media, has finally broken his silence and shared his side of the story. Speaking publicly for the first time, he clarified that he committed no crime but was merely expressing his emotions during a moment of mental stress and pressure.
Chacha insisted that he has no affiliation with any political party, and he did not use insulting language against any specific leader. He thanked the state for showing compassion and understanding.
“The state showed a big heart and forgave me after understanding my emotional state,” he said.
He also praised the police for their respectful and professional behavior, saying that his appearance in court was conducted with dignity. He expressed his respect for state institutions and emphasized that every citizen’s honor must be constitutionally protected.
When asked further by journalists, Chacha declined to comment on some questions but admitted that the words he used were a mistake. His lawyer added that Chacha suffers from high blood pressure, and his physical and emotional condition worsened after falling twice into rainwater on the day the video was recorded.
According to his legal counsel, the case has now been officially dismissed following due legal process, and Chacha is returning to his normal life as a free citizen.
It’s worth noting that the viral video showed Chacha allegedly using offensive language against political figures and state institutions, leading to his arrest. However, with the legal process now complete and his apology issued, the matter is considered closed both legally and ethically.
