Dr. Yasmin Rashid Transferred to Services Hospital Due to Deteriorating Health

PTI Leader Faces Breathing Difficulties and Severe Stomach Pain; Urgent Medical Attention Provided

Lahore: Senior Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) leader Dr. Yasmin Rashid was urgently shifted from Kot Lakhpat Jail to Services Hospital due to a sudden deterioration in her health.

According to jail authorities, Dr. Rashid experienced severe difficulty in breathing, prompting immediate medical intervention. Oxygen support was administered inside the jail before she was transferred. Sources also report that she complained of intense stomach pain, raising concerns among the attending doctors who recommended immediate hospitalization.

Multiple medical tests are currently underway at Services Hospital, where health specialists are closely monitoring her condition.

Dr. Yasmin Rashid, a former Health Minister and a prominent voice within PTI, has been incarcerated for several months under various legal cases. This is not the first time concerns have been raised about her health during detention, but the recent escalation has intensified public and political worry.

PTI leadership and supporters have long demanded her release and access to proper medical care. The current situation may now put pressure on judicial and government authorities to consider her medical condition in any forthcoming decisions.
