Chakwal/Duki: Two heartbreaking incidents have emerged from Chakwal and Duki district in Balochistan, where a total of six young lives were lost due to drowning.
In Chakwal, two young men went to Lakhwal Dam for sightseeing. While taking selfies near the water, they reportedly slipped and fell into the dam. Rescue officials responded immediately, recovered both bodies, and shifted them to the District Headquarters Hospital for legal formalities.
Meanwhile, in Duki, four young sisters playing near the Anbar stream were swept away by deep waters. Despite efforts to save them, their bodies were later recovered by local residents and rescue teams and taken to the hospital.
These tragic events have plunged both communities into deep grief and mourning, highlighting the risks associated with carelessness around water bodies.
