The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has issued a recall warning for a popular non-dairy frozen dessert after reports that some products may contain small stones and other hard objects.
The recall involves So Delicious Dairy Free Salted Caramel Cluster Non-Dairy Frozen Dessert pints manufactured by Danone USA. The affected products were sold at retail locations across the United States, including Target and Walmart.
The recall was initiated after consumers reported concerns about the product, prompting the company to notify the FDA.

According to the recall alert, the affected pints have best-by dates on or before April 3, 2028.

Danone USA said the potential contamination involves the cashew inclusions in the frozen dessert.
“Due to potential presence of foreign materials, such as small stones and other hard objects, within the cashew inclusions,” the company said in a statement issued on September 15, 2026.
The presence of hard objects could pose a physical hazard to consumers who eat the affected product.

Consumers advised not to eat product
The company has urged consumers who purchased the recalled frozen dessert not to consume it.
Instead, customers should return the affected product to the place of purchase for a refund.
Consumers who have already eaten the recalled product and have concerns about possible exposure are advised to contact a healthcare provider promptly.
The FDA and the company are urging consumers to check their freezers for the affected pints and verify the product’s SKU, UPC and best-by date before consuming them.
