Record Number of Umrah Visas Issued
Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has announced that a total of 4 million Umrah visas have been issued since the beginning of the season, following recent measures that lifted visa restrictions for pilgrims. This marks one of the largest mobilizations of pilgrims in recent years.
Among these, Pakistani pilgrims account for the highest number, reflecting strong religious participation from the country. Following Pakistan, Indonesia and India rank second and third, while Iraq and Egypt complete the top five countries sending pilgrims this season.
