Taylor Swift celebrated another major UK chart achievement with a fitting fashion choice, wearing a Burberry polo shirt as both her latest single and album topped the UK charts.
Swift wore the $960 long-sleeve Burberry piece, featuring the brand’s signature contrasting plaid detail, during an appearance in London on October 2.
The British fashion label served as a symbolic nod to Swift’s latest milestone as she celebrated an Official Chart Double.
‘Patient Zero’ earns eighth UK No. 1
Swift’s single Patient Zero debuted at No. 1 on the Official Singles Chart, giving the singer her eighth UK No. 1 single.
The track also became Swift’s third UK chart-topper of 2026, following Opalite and I Knew It, I Knew You, which appeared on the Toy Story 5 soundtrack.
The achievement marks the first calendar year in which Swift has secured three separate UK No. 1 singles.

‘The Life of a Showgirl’ returns to No. 1
At the same time, The Life of a Showgirl: The Encore returned to the top of the Official Albums Chart exactly one year after the original album was released on October 3, 2025.
The album’s return to No. 1 gives Swift her fifth non-consecutive week at the top of the UK Albums Chart with the project.
The simultaneous No. 1 performance by an album and single marks Swift’s fifth Official Chart Double with different album-and-single combinations.
She has now achieved the feat in every calendar year since 2022.

Swift continues dominant chart run
The latest achievement adds to an already strong chart run for The Life of a Showgirl era.
During the album’s original opening week, Swift occupied all three positions at the top of the UK Singles Chart. The Fate of Ophelia debuted at No. 1, followed by Opalite at No. 2 and Elizabeth Taylor at No. 3.
The Encore, released on September 25, expanded the original album with four additional tracks. The songs were written during an impromptu trip to Sweden with longtime collaborators Max Martin and Shellback.
Swift’s latest UK chart double further extends the commercial success surrounding the expanded edition of her album and adds another milestone to her record-setting career.
