Defending champions India and arch-rivals Pakistan will once again meet in the Women’s T20 Asia Cup after being placed in the same group for the eight-team tournament, which will be held in Dubai from August 28 to September 13.
Pakistan and India Share Group A
The schedule for the 2026 Women’s T20 Asia Cup has officially been announced, with traditional rivals Pakistan and India drawn together in Group A.
The eight-team tournament will feature two groups of four teams each.

Tournament to Begin on August 28
The Women’s T20 Asia Cup will begin on August 28 and conclude with the final on September 13.
All 15 matches, including both semi-finals and the final, will be played at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, making Dubai the sole host venue for the tournament.
The opening match will see Thailand face Hong Kong, China on August 28.

Pakistan’s Match Schedule
Pakistan will begin their campaign on September 1 against Thailand before taking on arch-rivals India in one of the tournament’s most anticipated fixtures on September 5.
The Green Shirts will then complete their group-stage matches against Hong Kong, China on September 7.

Knockout Stage Format
During the league stage, each team will play every other team in its respective group once.
The top two teams from each group will qualify for the semi-finals, scheduled for September 10 and September 11.
The winners of the semi-finals will then compete in the tournament final on September 13.
