Flag-raising ceremonies were held at the Pakistani Embassy in Abu Dhabi and the Consulate in Dubai under partly cloudy skies and pleasant weather, reflecting the strong bond between Pakistan and the UAE.

Pakistani Ambassador Shafqat Ali Khan hoisted the national flag at the embassy in Abu Dhabi. In his remarks, he offered prayers for Pakistanis martyred in recent conflicts and paid tribute to the Kashmiri people’s ongoing struggle for the right to self-determination. The ambassador reaffirmed Pakistan’s principled stance on the Kashmir issue and highlighted the country’s commitment to regional peace and justice.

At the Consulate in Dubai, Consul General Hussain Muhammad raised the national flag as the Pakistani national anthem played. He commended the Pakistani community for their positive contributions to UAE society, emphasizing responsible reporting on digital media amid ongoing regional challenges. The Consul General encouraged the community to uphold local laws and follow the guidance of authorities to maintain harmony and security.
