In a bold and direct statement, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has sharply criticized Israel’s foreign policy, accusing the state of consistently violating international borders with the backing of the United States. According to President Pezeshkian, Israel does not recognize any established boundaries and conducts operations wherever it pleases, triggering instability across the region.
“Israel recognizes no borders and acts wherever it wants under U.S. support,” President Pezeshkian stated, calling out what he described as a pattern of unchecked aggression.
While stressing that Iran does not seek to expand the war in the region, the president warned that any challenge to Iran’s sovereignty or national security would be met with a “firm and decisive” response. He emphasized that Iran is fully prepared to defend itself against any provocation and will not remain silent in the face of foreign aggression.
On Nuclear Intentions: A Peaceful Path
Addressing concerns over Iran’s nuclear ambitions, President Pezeshkian clarified that Iran has no intention of pursuing nuclear weapons. Instead, he reiterated that the country’s nuclear program is strictly for peaceful energy purposes, including the enrichment of uranium — a right he asserts is protected under international law.
“Iran’s nuclear activities are for civilian energy purposes only. We continue dialogue with the U.S., and our right to enrich uranium remains non-negotiable,” he said.
Defensive, Not Aggressive
The president concluded his statement with a firm reminder that Iran is not an aggressor, but it will not hesitate to defend itself if provoked.
“We are a nation of peace — but we will never back down when it comes to defending our homeland.”
President Pezeshkian’s remarks come amid escalating tensions in the Middle East, as global observers monitor Israel’s expanding military actions and Iran’s regional stance. His statements signal a critical juncture where diplomacy, deterrence, and sovereignty are in sharp focus.
