Washington, D.C. – In a dramatic escalation of rhetoric, U.S. President Donald Trump issued a strong warning to Iran, urging civilians to evacuate Tehran immediately, citing a growing threat of military conflict in the region.
The warning, posted on social media, emphasized that if Iran fails to sign the Iran Nuclear Deal, it would be responsible for a tragic and avoidable loss of life.
Trump placed the blame for the US-Iran conflict squarely on the shoulders of the Biden administration, stating that weak policies have led to a dangerous standoff. He noted that Iran had been given a 60-day deadline to return to the negotiating table, which it refused, even as Israel carried out targeted operations. According to Trump, both the Tehran evacuation warning and diplomatic efforts were ignored by Iranian leaders, despite multiple chances.
At the G7 Summit in Canada, Trump stood beside British Prime Minister Keir Starmer and stressed that failure to accept the deal would be “a foolish mistake.” The former president also announced that he had cut his summit schedule short and directed the National Security Council’s Situation Room to stay on high alert.
“Iran must act now—this is the final window for dialogue,” Trump declared. He went on to say that Iran is not winning this war, and the Trump warning to Iran was not just a political message but a serious security alert. “They will eventually be forced to the table, whether they like it or not,” he added.
Trump made it clear that there is currently no active agreement between the U.S. and Iran, and the situation now entering its 61st day was entirely predictable. “We are on the verge of a broader Middle East crisis, and Iran must take responsibility before it’s too late.”
It is important to note that Trump on Iran-Israel tensions comes at a time when Israeli airstrikes have recently targeted Iranian infrastructure, including a state-run television station. Multiple casualties have been reported, and the regional atmosphere remains highly volatile.
