The Iranian military confirmed that the Haifa Refinery Attack resulted in a complete shutdown, killing three employees on-site. This operation marks Iran’s latest move in a series of escalating responses to Israeli aggression.

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) claimed responsibility for the strikes, warning that no Israeli city will remain safe. IRGC spokesman General Ali Mohammad declared that the Iran-Israel War would continue until what he called “justice for the oppressed” is achieved. He further warned Israeli civilians to evacuate Tel Aviv as future attacks would focus on military installations and government centers.

In retaliation, Israel struck multiple locations in Tehran, including state TV headquarters, hospitals, and the Qom highway, causing damage across eastern, western, and southern parts of the capital. Loud explosions were also reported in Ahvaz, Khuzestan. During one of the strikes, two female journalists were killed, and a news anchor had to abruptly leave the broadcast.

Israel claimed it destroyed a third of Iran’s missile launchers and said it now controls Tehran’s airspace, a claim Iran dismissed as baseless. In response, Iran announced the deployment of advanced Shahed drones, specifically the Shahed 107, which are capable of suicide attacks at altitudes up to 1,500 km.

As of the fourth day of the Iran-Israel War, 27 people have been killed in Israel, while Iran has lost 225 lives. The humanitarian toll is rising quickly, and concerns are growing over the broader implications for Middle East tensions.

UN Secretary-General António Guterres condemned the Israeli airstrike on Iranian state media, reiterating that journalists and medical staff are protected under international law. The Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ) also denounced the targeting of media infrastructure, calling it “unacceptable.”

Meanwhile, China has urged its citizens to leave Israel, and the United States has announced the deployment of additional defensive forces in the region to reinforce its strategic posture and protect its troops.

This latest escalation in the Iran-Israel War shows no signs of slowing, and the international community is now under pressure to intervene before the conflict spreads even further across the Middle East.
