KP Chief Minister Denies Meeting with PTI Founder

Spokesperson Faraz Mughal Calls Media Reports False and Misleading

Peshawar: The spokesperson of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government, Faraz Mughal, has categorically denied media reports suggesting that Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur held any meeting with the founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI). He termed the reports as false, baseless, and misleading.

In an official statement, Faraz Mughal clarified that the Chief Minister has not opposed any party decisions and continues to function in line with the directives of the PTI founder, which guide the governance of the province.

He emphasized that the authority to issue Senate tickets lies solely with the party chairman, and all nominations are made with his approval and are considered final.

Faraz Mughal also rejected rumors of differences between the CM and Aleema Khan, calling them fabricated and aimed at creating unrest within the party. He reiterated that the CM remains fully committed to the party leadership and decisions.

The spokesperson urged PTI workers and the public not to pay attention to rumors and to place full trust in the PTI founder and central leadership, who are actively working to keep the party united and mobilized during challenging times.

It is worth noting that speculation about internal divisions and Senate ticket distribution had sparked recent controversy, prompting reports of dissent and secret meetings — which have now been firmly dismissed.
