World’s Most Expensive Burger: “Golden Boy” Costs Over PKR 900,000

A Luxury Treat Made with Gold, Truffles, and Rare Ingredients

Burger lovers, get ready for a surprise! A restaurant in the Netherlands has created the world’s most expensive burger, called the “Golden Boy.”

This luxurious burger costs $6,000 USD, which is around PKR 900,000.

It is served at De Daltons, a well-known restaurant in the city of Voorthuizen, Netherlands. The burger includes some of the world’s rarest and most expensive ingredients, such as:

  • King crab

  • White truffle

  • Saffron

  • Duck egg-based special mayo

  • Premium Japanese Wagyu beef

What makes it even more unique is that the bun is soaked in champagne, dried, and then wrapped in edible gold leaf.

According to the restaurant’s owner, Robbert Jan de Veen, the idea came after he read about a $5,000 burger made in the US. But instead of size, he wanted to create a burger that stands out for its flavor, ingredients, and elegance.

A Burger with a Cause

Besides being the most expensive, the proceeds from the Golden Boy go to global water projects that support developing countries.

So far, three people have tasted this one-of-a-kind burger, all of whom contributed to the charity cause.

If you’d like to try this unique burger yourself, you’ll need to place an order at least two weeks in advance.
