FESCO Introduces Own Meter, Own Reading to Curb Overbilling

Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (FESCO) has launched a new facility called “Own Meter, Own Reading” to eliminate overbilling complaints.

Through the Power Smart mobile application, consumers will now be able to record their own meter readings.

According to details, citizens had complained that meter readers often recorded readings a day or two after the scheduled date.

This negligence would push consumption above 200 units, causing customers to face inflated bills.
