Cardi B has responded to fans urging her to remain single following her recent split from Stefon Diggs, making it clear she has no intention of staying out of the dating scene for long.

Speaking during a candid livestream, the Grammy-winning rapper dismissed suggestions that she should focus only on herself instead of pursuing new relationships.

“I’ve been seeing some suggestions like, ‘I want her to be single, I want her to focus on herself.’ Bitch, I’m not going to be single for the rest of my life,” Cardi said.

‘I’ve already spent time being single’

Cardi explained that she had already taken time for herself during her recent tour and was not involved with anyone throughout that period.

“I’ve been single throughout my whole tour. Single, not talking to nobody, not entertaining nobody, not anything.”

She added that she has since begun enjoying life again by spending time with friends, traveling and relaxing.

“I’ve been going outside, chilling with friends, I’ve been vacationing, I’ve been drinking, I’ve been having fun. I’ve been having a ball.”

The rapper jokingly added that even when she and her friends are enjoying themselves, they still appreciate a little excitement.

“At the end of the day, baby, entertainment is needed.”

Cardi B also acknowledged that some of her past relationship decisions may not have been the best.

“Could I pick better men? Probably. Maybe. So, whatever.”

She added that she may become “a little bit more exclusive” when it comes to future relationships.

‘I’m not gonna be single forever’

Ending the discussion, Cardi reiterated that she has no plans to remain single indefinitely.

“I know you guys expect me to be single — I’m not gonna be single forever.”

Her remarks come amid growing speculation linking the rapper to Nigerian footballer Maduka Okoye following her reported breakup with Stefon Diggs. Neither Cardi B nor Okoye has publicly confirmed the dating rumours.
