A local court in Rawalpindi on Sunday sent two suspects arrested in the Hina Javed murder case on three-day physical remand.

The suspects, identified as Hina’s husband Faisal Asghar and a domestic worker, Zeeshan, were produced before a magistrate by police. The investigating officer requested physical remand, stating that further investigation and recovery of evidence were required.

After hearing the police request, the magistrate approved three days of physical remand, allowing investigators to continue questioning the suspects and complete further legal procedures in the case.

Hina Javed’s Body Found at Her Home

According to police officials, Hina Javed’s body was recovered from a bathroom at her residence in Rawalpindi’s Lalkurti area.

The area falls within the jurisdiction of the Civil Lines police station, where a murder case has been registered.

Police said Hina had been married to the main suspect, Faisal Asghar, for approximately nine months.

According to the first information report (FIR), which was registered on the complaint of the victim’s brother, Hina’s hands were allegedly tied behind her back when her body was discovered. Her mouth was also reportedly covered with a piece of cloth.

Police Claim to Recover Alleged Murder Weapons

Police told the court that they had recovered a rope and a wire from the suspects, which were allegedly used in the murder.

The recovered items are expected to be examined as part of the ongoing investigation. Police have also collected DNA samples from both suspects.

The samples will be sent for forensic testing, while investigators continue gathering evidence related to the circumstances surrounding Hina Javed’s death.

Forensic evidence can play an important role in criminal investigations by helping authorities establish links between suspects, victims and objects recovered during an inquiry. However, the final conclusions in this case will depend on the investigation and subsequent legal proceedings.

Domestic Worker Accused of Assisting in the Murder

Police have alleged that Faisal Asghar paid his employee, Zeeshan, to take part in the killing.

According to investigators, the domestic worker assisted the main suspect during the alleged murder.

Police are also investigating the role of Faisal Asghar’s father in the case. Authorities said he has been included in the investigation, while his statement has already been recorded.

However, police have not publicly provided further details regarding the nature of his involvement or whether he is facing any formal charges.

Investigation Continues

The Civil Lines police are continuing their investigation to determine the exact circumstances and motive behind Hina Javed’s death.

Investigators are expected to use the suspects’ physical remand period to gather further information and verify the evidence already collected. The results of DNA and other forensic examinations could also become important as the case progresses.

The suspects are expected to be produced before the court again following the completion of their three-day physical remand.

As the investigation remains ongoing, the allegations against the suspects have yet to be tested in a court of law, and their guilt or innocence will ultimately be determined through legal proceedings.
