Indian-Sponsored Militants Killed in Failed Infiltration at Pak-Afghan Border

Security Forces Foil Major Cross-Border Terror Attempt in North Waziristan

A major infiltration attempt by Indian-sponsored militants at the Pakistan-Afghanistan border in North Waziristan was successfully thwarted by Pakistan’s security forces.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), security forces carried out a timely operation in the Hasankhel area, killing 30 militants. A large cache of weapons and ammunition was also recovered from the terrorists.

The ISPR stated that the movement of the militants was detected on the night of July 1st and 2nd, prompting a swift response by the security forces. The killed militants were identified as members of Khawarij (deviant terrorists), allegedly backed by India.

ISPR emphasized that the Afghan government must take effective measures to prevent its territory from being used against Pakistan. It also reaffirmed the commitment of Pakistan’s armed forces to defend the nation’s borders and eliminate Indian-sponsored terrorism.

Meanwhile, President Asif Ali Zardari praised the bravery of the security forces for neutralizing the Khawarij terrorists. He paid tribute to their unwavering courage and reaffirmed the nation’s resolve to continue operations until the complete eradication of terrorism.

President Zardari stated that the nation’s determination to eliminate terrorist elements and defend the country remains unshakable.
