LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz’s daughter, Mahnoor Safdar, is set to solemnise her nikah on Saturday at the Sharif family’s Jati Umra residence in Lahore.

The ceremony will be held in a private setting and attended by close relatives and invited family members.

Mahnoor is set to marry Azan Jabbar, son of businessman Jabbar Khalid.

The nikah comes only days after Mahnoor completed her graduation in Anthropology from SOAS University of London, where she studied from 2023 to 2026.

Maryam Nawaz attends daughter’s graduation

Earlier this month, Maryam Nawaz travelled to London to attend her youngest daughter’s graduation ceremony.

Speaking to Geo News during her visit, the Punjab chief minister described the occasion as a moment of immense pride and happiness for the family.

She said there could be no greater source of pride for parents than seeing their children complete their education. Maryam also noted that all three of her children had now completed their higher studies.

Mahnoor is the youngest of Maryam Nawaz and Captain Muhammad Safdar’s three children.

Sharif family wedding celebrations

The family’s most recent high-profile wedding celebration was that of Mahnoor’s brother, Junaid Safdar, who married Shanzeh Ali Rohale in January.

Junaid’s wedding festivities continued over several days and were held at different venues, including the Sharif family’s Jati Umra estate.

Mahnoor’s nikah is expected to remain a relatively private family affair, with only close relatives and selected guests attending the ceremony.
