Pakistan international Momina Riasat and all-rounder Fatima Sana delivered standout performances as Stars and Strikers recorded convincing victories in the National Women’s T20 Tournament in Faisalabad.
Momina claimed four wickets for just one run to help Stars defeat Invincibles by 48 runs in the tournament’s seventh match at Jawad Club. In the eighth fixture, Fatima struck an unbeaten 73 before Syeda Masooma Zehra took four wickets to guide Strikers to a 57-run victory over Conquerors at Bohranwali Ground.
Momina’s Brilliant Spell Destroys Invincibles
Batting first at Jawad Club, Stars posted 110 for nine in their allotted 20 overs. Samina Aftab led the scoring with 38 runs, while Sadaf Shamas contributed 28 and Manahil Rafiq added 26.
Invincibles left-arm spinner Anosha Nasir delivered an impressive performance with the ball, taking four wickets for 14 runs. Tasmia Rubab also made an impact, claiming three wickets for 19 runs.
However, Invincibles struggled to chase the target and were bowled out for just 62 in 14 overs.
Left-arm spinner Momina Riasat produced the match-defining performance, finishing with figures of four wickets for one run in three overs, including two maidens. Right-arm fast bowler Diana Baig provided further support by taking two wickets for 15 runs.
Momina’s exceptional bowling earned her the Player of the Match award as Stars secured a comprehensive victory.
Fatima Sana’s Unbeaten 73 Powers Strikers
In the eighth match at Bohranwali Ground, Strikers posted a competitive total of 160 for eight after choosing to bat first.
Fatima Sana led the innings with an unbeaten 73 off 48 balls. Her knock featured nine fours and three sixes, providing the foundation for Strikers’ strong total. Huraina Sajjad also contributed with a valuable 30 runs.
For Conquerors, Humna Bilal claimed three wickets for 19 runs, while Noreen Yaqoob took two wickets for 30 runs.

Masooma Zehra Completes Strikers’ Victory
Chasing a target of 161, Conquerors failed to maintain the required scoring rate and were dismissed for 103 in 19.5 overs.
Noreen Yaqoob top-scored with 25 runs, but the rest of the batting lineup could not mount a sustained challenge.
Fast bowler Syeda Masooma Zehra led Strikers’ bowling attack, taking four wickets for 18 runs to restrict Conquerors and secure a 57-run victory.
Fatima Sana was named Player of the Match for her decisive unbeaten innings.
