The Baltimore Ravens secured a dramatic 34-31 victory over the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday, September 27, after rookie kicker Tyler Loop converted a 56-yard field goal as time expired at Maracanã Stadium in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

The thrilling international NFL matchup saw both teams trade leads before Baltimore produced the decisive play in the final seconds.

The victory moved the Ravens to 2-1 for the season, while the Cowboys dropped to 1-2.

Jackson delivers in crucial moments

With the score tied at 31-31 and only seconds remaining, quarterback Lamar Jackson connected with wide receiver Zay Flowers for a crucial gain that moved Baltimore into field-goal range.

Loop then calmly converted the 56-yard attempt as the clock reached zero, securing the victory for the Ravens.

Jackson had earlier helped Baltimore regain the lead when he found first-year tight end Matt Hibner for a touchdown with less than two minutes remaining.

The score appeared to put the Ravens in control, but Dallas responded with a late drive to level the game and set up the dramatic finish.

Running back Derrick Henry also played an important role in Baltimore’s offensive performance.

Henry rushed for 89 yards and scored two touchdowns, providing the Ravens with a strong running game throughout the contest.

His contributions helped Baltimore maintain offensive pressure as the game remained closely contested.

The victory gives the Ravens momentum heading into Week 4 of the NFL season.

Baltimore will return home on Sunday, October 4, when the Ravens host the Tennessee Titans.
