Rihanna has given fans a glimpse into her life as a mother with a social media post dedicated almost entirely to her one-year-old daughter, Rocki Irish.
The Barbadian singer-songwriter and businesswoman shared a carousel of photos and videos on Saturday, September 26, offering fans a look at some of her daughter’s playful and sweet moments.
The post came nearly two weeks after Rocki celebrated her first birthday on September 13.
Rihanna captioned the collection with a playful message: “who let me have a daughter, bro?”
Rocki steals the spotlight
The carousel opened with a video of Rocki sitting in a baby chair indoors while wearing a large wig over her head. The little girl appeared to struggle hilariously as she tried to remove it.
Another photo showed Rocki looking directly at the camera with hair rollers attached to her hair.
Rihanna then took fans back to an earlier moment in her daughter’s life, sharing a photo of Rocki as a much younger baby during her red carpet debut. Another picture from the same occasion featured her older brother beside her.
The proud mother also included a video of Rocki playing with one of Rihanna’s branded bags.

A glimpse into Rocki’s first year
The rest of the photo dump featured a series of candid moments from Rocki’s first year, including pictures of her sleeping, sitting on someone’s lap and relaxing on a couch in a two-piece swimsuit.
Rihanna also shared a picture from Rocki’s six-month celebrations, adding to the collection of memories documenting her daughter’s first year.
In another video, Rocki could be heard saying “hey” to the camera after her mother encouraged her to greet everyone.
The singer also posted a sweet mother-daughter moment in which she was feeding Rocki. However, the curious one-year-old appeared more interested in reaching for her mother’s sunglasses and cap.
