Rawalpindi – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan has called for preparations for a nationwide movement, according to his sister Aleema Khan. Speaking to the media outside Adiala Jail, she revealed that Imran Khan instructed all party workers to fully focus on the movement, adding that his sons, Sulaiman and Qasim, also wish to be part of the struggle.
Aleema Khan conveyed Imran Khan’s message to the nation, urging the people of Pakistan to stand up for their freedom and the rule of law. He reportedly stated that those leaders who cannot shoulder the burden of the movement should step down from their positions. He made no mention of negotiations and declared the movement as the only path forward.
According to Aleema, Imran’s sons, Sulaiman and Qasim, will raise their voices against human rights violations in the United States and plans are underway for their potential visit to Pakistan. She quoted Imran as saying that every time the party launches a movement, baseless rumors start to circulate, but now all doors have closed and a people-powered movement is the only way forward.
Aleema further said that Imran Khan has made it clear the current PTI leadership will lead the movement and will decide on its timeline. She emphasized that this is not a time for silence but for active resistance against injustice.
It’s worth noting that the political temperature in the country is once again rising, and Imran Khan’s fresh directive signals a new and decisive phase in PTI’s strategy.
