Punjab Launches Online Property Registry Service

Citizens Can Now Access Property Deeds from Home via New ROD Portal

In a major step toward digitization and public convenience, the Punjab Government has launched an online facility allowing citizens to access their property registries from the comfort of their homes.

The Punjab Land Records Authority (PLRA), under the “Punjab Urban Land Systems Enhancement (PLUS)” program, has introduced a modern online portal named “Record of Deeds (ROD)”. Through this system, users can easily view and download scanned copies of their property registry documents.

The goal of this initiative is to ensure transparency, speed, and ease in land-related services. Previously, citizens had to make repeated visits to the sub-registrar office to obtain their registry. Now, the entire process has been made fully online. By simply visiting the portal and entering basic details, users can retrieve their property documents instantly.

To use this service, citizens need to visit:
https://rod.pulse.gop.pk
Here, they can search for the required documents using district, tehsil, sub-registrar office, date, or registry number. The available registries are provided in scanned PDF format and can be downloaded directly.

This initiative is a significant move towards eliminating corruption, increasing transparency in land affairs, and saving citizens valuable time, effort, and money.

Punjab’s new digital service is a remarkable example of modern public service delivery and a step forward in promoting e-governance across the province. In case a specific registry is not available online, citizens are advised to contact their respective sub-registrar office to have it included in the system.
