Pakistan Reaffirms Its Commitment to Defend the Nation
The Pakistan Army has warned that any external aggression will be met with a strong and decisive response.
Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR), made the statement during an interactive session with university professors and students.
He said the armed forces remain fully committed to protecting the country’s borders and sovereignty. The Pakistan Army is always ready to defend the motherland, General Chaudhry stated. Any act of aggression will receive a firm and immediate reply.
Focus on Border Security and Counterterrorism
During the discussion, participants talked about national security, Pakistan-Afghanistan relations, and the ongoing fight against terrorism.
General Chaudhry highlighted that Pakistan has taken effective measures to counter extremist threats and eliminate militant networks.
He said the army continues to ensure peace and stability across the country, particularly in border areas where security challenges persist.
Officials say Pakistan has faced a rise in cross-border attacks in recent months, many allegedly linked to groups operating from Afghan territory.
General Chaudhry reiterated that Pakistan remains committed to peace but will not tolerate violations of its sovereignty.
Paying Tribute to Martyrs and National Heroes
The session also included tributes to Pakistan’s martyrs and veterans. Faculty members and students honored the soldiers who sacrificed their lives in defense of the nation.
Dr. Ikramullah Khan, Vice Chancellor of Hazara University, described the Pakistan Army as the true symbol of patriotism.
He said the army always stands on the front lines, whether in times of war, natural disasters, or national emergencies.
Fighting Disinformation and Building Awareness
Educators raised concerns about misinformation being spread on social media to influence young minds.
They emphasized the need for students to rely on credible sources and verified information.
Students attending the session said the DG ISPR’s interaction helped clear their doubts about national security and the army’s role.
They appreciated the transparent discussion, saying it gave them a better understanding of Pakistan’s internal and external challenges.
The event concluded with a call for greater cooperation between academic institutions and state organizations to strengthen public awareness, unity, and national resilience.
