Chief of Army Staff (COAS) and Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) Field Marshal Asim Munir has said that externally sponsored terrorism, propaganda, and disinformation campaigns cannot block Pakistan’s path of development and progress.

He made these remarks while addressing officers and troops during his visit to formations deployed in Balochistan, according to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

Strong Message on National Security

Field Marshal Munir stated that Pakistan’s “destined rise” could not be obstructed through hostile narratives or proxy warfare. He emphasized that the armed forces, along with the people of Pakistan, remain fully committed to eliminating terrorism from the country.

He also reaffirmed that any attempt to destabilize Pakistan through indirect means would ultimately fail due to national unity and institutional resilience.

Focus on Modern Warfare and Preparedness

During his interaction with officers at the Command and Staff College in Quetta, the army chief highlighted the rapidly evolving nature of modern warfare. He stressed the importance of adapting to emerging technologies, multi-domain operations, and enhanced coordination among the armed forces.

He urged military leadership to ensure continuous training and preparedness to meet future battlefield challenges while maintaining high standards of professionalism and operational readiness.
