rawalpindi, 2 indian-sponsored terrorists were killed and two others captured during an intelligence-based operation by pakistani security forces in duki district, balochistan, according to the inter-services public relations (ispr).
the operation was launched on june 28, 2025, following confirmed intelligence about the presence of militants linked to the indian proxy network, fitna al hindustan. according to the ispr statement, the security forces swiftly engaged the militants, leading to a fierce exchange of fire. “two indian-sponsored terrorists were sent to hell, while two others were apprehended,” the military’s media wing reported.
during the operation, the forces recovered a cache of weapons, explosives, and ammunition. the militants were allegedly involved in multiple acts of terrorism across the region, targeting both civilians and security installations.
a sanitisation operation is ongoing to eliminate any remaining threats and ensure the safety of the area. the ispr reiterated that pakistan’s armed forces remain resolute in their mission to root out indian-backed terrorism and bring all perpetrators to justice.
in response to the successful operation, president asif ali zardari and prime minister shehbaz sharif praised the security forces for their swift and decisive action.
the president stated that the nation takes pride in its armed forces for their professionalism and sacrifices. he emphasised that protecting the country’s sovereignty from foreign-backed terrorism is a top priority.
prime minister shehbaz sharif echoed these sentiments, noting that the security forces act as a bulwark against terrorism. “this operation is a clear message to those who seek to destabilise pakistan with foreign support — we will not allow it,” he said.
the government reaffirmed its full support to the armed forces in their continued operations against terrorist elements backed by hostile powers.
