Take-Two Interactive CEO Strauss Zelnick has once again dismissed speculation surrounding another delay to Grand Theft Auto VI (GTA 6), reaffirming that the highly anticipated game remains on schedule for its November 19, 2026 release.
The reassurance comes ahead of the company’s next earnings call, scheduled for August 7, as excitement continues to build among fans awaiting Rockstar Games’ biggest release in more than a decade.
GTA 6 remains on track
Take-Two, the parent company of Rockstar Games, reiterated its confidence in the game’s launch timeline in a recent letter to shareholders.
The update comes after years of anticipation, with GTA 6 becoming one of the gaming industry’s most eagerly awaited titles following a lengthy development cycle and multiple release delays.
While fans continue to speculate about the arrival of a third trailer before launch, the company has maintained that development remains on schedule.

In the shareholder letter, Zelnick highlighted Take-Two’s strong financial results, reporting net bookings of $6.72 billion for fiscal 2026.
According to the company, the figure exceeded earlier expectations and reflects continued growth across its portfolio of games.
Media reports also suggest the company expects to generate more than $1 billion in cash flow, which could support an extensive global marketing campaign ahead of GTA 6’s launch.
