Lahore: Following in the footsteps of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, her son Junaid Safdar has also commended the police officers who fined his security vehicle for violating traffic laws. Taking to Instagram, Junaid appreciated the professionalism shown by the Punjab Police team involved in the incident.
In his Instagram story, Junaid Safdar wrote:
“I was truly impressed by the professionalism of these young men. Whether on duty or off duty, may Allah keep you safe and protected.”
Earlier, CM Punjab Maryam Nawaz had praised the traffic warden and the Dolphin Force team for their impartial enforcement of the law when a vehicle in Junaid’s convoy was found violating traffic rules. The fine was issued without any political pressure, drawing praise from across the country.
Junaid’s positive response is also gaining traction on social media, where users are applauding the gesture as a strong endorsement of the rule of law. Many believe that such actions help rebuild public trust in law enforcement agencies.
It’s worth noting that this isn’t the first time law enforcement in Punjab has received public praise from government officials for taking action against high-profile individuals. Maryam Nawaz’s recent moves continue to reinforce the narrative that “no one is above the law“—even if they belong to the ruling family.
