Aagha Ali Says: In Relationships, Success Matters More Than Love

The actor opens up about love, marriage, divorce, and why a Honda Civic gets more respect than an Alto in today’s society.

“In today’s world, people give importance to those who own a Honda Civic, not an Alto,” said well-known Pakistani actor Aagha Ali while appearing on a recent podcast (FHM).

Talking openly about relationships, marriage, divorce, and the realities of modern love, Aagha said that it’s better to separate respectfully when two people are no longer happy together.

Key Thoughts from Aagha Ali:

“Divorce can never be a happy occasion, but it doesn’t have to be bitter either.”

He explained that love alone is not enough to sustain a relationship today. Emotional, financial, and practical stability all play an important role in making a relationship successful.

He said:

“A smart girl in today’s world won’t just settle for love. She deserves a secure, stable, and quality life — and that’s her right.”

Aagha encouraged men to stop thinking that women enter relationships just for love. Instead, they should focus on improving themselves and becoming financially strong.

“Boys need to focus on their careers,” he added. “Because in today’s society, respect is directly linked with success and lifestyle.”

Using humor and reality, Aagha said:

“Even an Alto costs 4 million rupees now. Naturally, the one with a Honda Civic gets more importance.”

When asked about his past statement “I’m happy after divorce,” he clarified that it was said casually during Ahmed Ali Butt’s show, with no bad intentions.

“That relationship had ended, and we both made decisions that were better for each other.”

Aagha Ali and actress Hina Altaf got married in May 2020 but separated in 2022 after two years of marriage.

He concluded:

“If there’s no happiness in a relationship, it’s better to walk away respectfully than stay and fight. Peace matters more.”
