LOS ANGELES: Actress Samantha Morton has spoken candidly about the personal tragedies that have shaped her life, revealing that the past two years have been among the most difficult she has ever experienced.
The The Odyssey star shared that she lost both her sister and father within 18 months, describing the emotional toll as overwhelming.
Sister died earlier this year
The 49-year-old actress revealed that her 53-year-old sister died in April, saying she is still struggling to come to terms with the loss.
Speaking in a recent interview, Morton described the experience as deeply painful and admitted she is still processing the grief.
Father also passed away
Morton also disclosed that her father died around 18 months ago, making the recent period especially challenging for her and her family.
Despite the heartbreak, she said she continues to find strength through hope and begins each day with a prayer.
