According to Iranian media, Israel has carried out an airstrike targeting a nuclear facility in Isfahan. Authorities have confirmed that despite the attack, there has been no leakage of any hazardous materials.
The Deputy Governor of Isfahan provided further details about the Israeli strikes across the province, stating that no casualties have been reported.

According to Fars News Agency, the cities of Lenjan, Mobarakeh, Shahreza, and Isfahan were targeted. The nuclear site in Isfahan was among the locations hit, though officials reiterated that “no dangerous materials were released.”
Meanwhile, Reuters reported that Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant has claimed the head of Iran’s Quds Force, Saeed Yazd, was killed in the strike. Katz, an Israeli official, stated that the Israeli military struck an apartment in Iran believed to house the Quds Force leader.
However, there has been no official confirmation from Iran regarding the death of Saeed Yazd.
Reports also suggest that to prevent the destruction of nuclear material, it has been relocated to a safer location.
Observers believe that Iran is using the narrative of a “long and challenging search for hidden nuclear material” as part of a broader diplomatic strategy to push back against Israeli aggression and bring focus back to negotiation and diplomacy.
