Thousands of Facebook users around the world reported problems accessing the platform on Sunday, with complaints ranging from login failures to news feed and website loading issues.
According to outage-tracking platform Downdetector, reports of problems began rising at around 3:53am EDT, suggesting a possible service disruption affecting users in multiple regions. Users reported difficulties logging in, loading the website and refreshing their Facebook feeds.

- Feed and timeline loading problems
Many users also took to social media platforms and online forums to report error messages, temporary account unavailability and slow performance, although the extent of the disruption appeared to vary by location.
Meta yet to issue official statement
As of publication, Meta, the parent company of Facebook, had not released an official statement confirming a widespread outage or explaining the cause of the reported issues.
Without confirmation from the company, it remains unclear whether the disruption is affecting all users globally or only certain regions.
