Stranger Things star Sadie Sink has finally responded to the growing fan theories surrounding her mysterious role in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, though she stopped short of revealing which character she plays.
The actress appeared in a promotional video released on Friday, just days before the film’s theatrical release, where she playfully addressed the speculation that has surrounded her casting.
The video was shared jointly by the official Spider-Man Movie and Sony Pictures social media accounts with the caption: “We can confirm… she’s in this movie. Spider-Man: Brand New Day is in theatres July 31. Get tickets now.”
‘I am definitely in this movie’
Speaking in the promotional clip, the 24-year-old actress acknowledged the excitement among Marvel fans.
“Since the trailer dropped, I’ve seen so many theories about who I’m playing,” Sink said before offering what she called three “exclusive, confirmed answers.”
She jokingly clarified:
- She is not Spider-Man.
- She is not Aunt May.
- She is definitely in the movie.
