American fitness content creator Connor Murphy has reportedly died following a drowning incident in Thailand, according to local media reports. He was 32 years old.
Authorities said Murphy’s body was recovered from a lake inside a luxury residential village on July 7, 2026, after emergency services responded to reports that a foreign national had entered the water.
The circumstances surrounding the incident remain under investigation, and officials have not yet released an official autopsy report.

Body Recovered After Search Operation
According to Thai media outlet ThaiRath, emergency services received a call at approximately 3:00 p.m. local time on July 7 reporting that a foreign man had entered a lake inside an upscale residential village.
Police officers, medical personnel from Ramathibodi Chakri Naruebodindra Hospital, and rescue volunteers responded to the scene.
Rescue divers later recovered Murphy’s body from approximately 20 metres from the shoreline.
Authorities have said an investigation is ongoing, and the official cause of death will be determined following forensic examinations.

According to local media reports, Murphy had been staying in a luxury residence that had reportedly been leased for three months.
Witnesses and security personnel told investigators that before the incident, Murphy appeared to be in visible distress for reasons that remain unclear.
Reports state that he returned to the residential community in a hired vehicle, attempted to approach another resident’s car, shouted, and rolled on the roadway before police arrived.
When officers attempted to detain him, Murphy reportedly ran further into the residential compound and entered a lake that is said to be more than 10 metres deep.
Witnesses told local media that he initially swam in the water but eventually appeared to become exhausted before disappearing beneath the surface.
